Giselle and Brian of Canine Comforts did an incredible job taking care of my four-legged friend. Typically, I try to arrange for a friend or family member to stay at my house or drop by a few times per day to take care of my dog when I have to travel. However, unexpected events required me to travel out of state for a few days and my friends/family who normally watch my dog were unavailable. Thus, I was forced to look into dog boarding services. After researching and calling a few different options, I stumbled upon Canine Comforts. Giselle confirmed that they could take my dog the following morning and provided clear instructions for me to streamline the intake process.

A few hours after I dropped off my dog, Canine Comforts sent me a link to a shared Google Photos album, where they added pictures of my dog throughout his stay. It was really nice to see him running and playing with all the other dogs. Canine Comforts was also incredibly accommodating regarding my dog's pick-up schedule.

Originally, I had planned to pick him up from Canine Comforts on Sunday, but due to unforeseen circumstances, I was not able to fly back home until the following day. Canine Comforts was willing to extend my dog's stay and hang onto him for an additional day.

Thank you, Giselle and Brian, for making an otherwise stressful last-minute travel experience easy and pain-free! My dog loved staying with you, and I certainly plan to utilize your services in the future.

In all my 30+ years of owning pets I’ve never been brave enough to leave them with an unknown sitter. Unfortunately, I didn’t have any other option this time. Giselle made the first boarding experience simple, easy, and stress-free for me and my 1-year-old Australian Cattle Dog. During our initial meeting it was apparent that Giselle not only loves dogs but that she had the competence and experience to properly care for them. At the time of my visit, she had multiple dogs of all ages, sizes, and temperaments. Even with all this activity, Giselle and her partner Brian had full control of the pack at all times. The absolute best part of the boarding experience was Giselle proactive communication about Ginger. I loved getting multiple pictures each day. I could actually see my fur baby growing more comfortable and having fun with her new caregivers and making new puppy friends. I plan to work with Giselle when I need to board in the future.

Giselle has a lovely home that really caters for your dog’s needs. She goes the extra mile with ensuring the dogs needs are met, even if it's not mentioned, for example, our Australian Shepherd, had a runny tummy and Giselle fed her chicken and rice. Also our dog was pretty sad, so she let her sleep in their bed. 10/10, highly recommend.

Canine Comforts truly offers a one-of-a-kind service that our family has been unable to find anywhere else. One of our dogs has anxiety, and we've found through experience that 99% of dog service providers nationwide do not have the experience, skills, or quite frankly the compassion to take care of him properly. When we first moved to town, we tried a number of commercial doggy daycare and boarding companies, and none of them had the motivation or desire to take the time to get to know our dog, and instead treated him like a "problem" dog, or "bad dog" right off the bat, thus giving us no desire or reason to trust him to their care. We are so grateful we found Canine Comforts. From the beginning, it was clear their expertise and philosophy towards dog care was unique and exceptional. They actually took the time to get to know both of our dogs and implement "introduction" procedures that would make our anxious dog most comfortable. They continue to provide high quality care each and every time our dogs are with them, and our dog's anxiety has actually been improving with each visit, and he is getting less anxious with every interaction. Not only do our dogs enjoy every minute of their time at Canine Comforts, but it’s also clear that every single other dog there does too. One only needs to observe for a short time their operations, and how the dogs all interact with each other, to see that Canine Comforts provides a truly unique, safe, and happy environment for all of their furry customers. We are happy to have found this place for the first time we abandoned our puppy. The many pictures we got during the 5 days showed him having lots of fun with the other dogs. When we picked him up and Giselle brought him outside, he was of course excited to see us, but then he was ready to go back in. So we heard it "from the horse's mouth", that this is a great place. They have set up their backyard and large parts of the house around the dogs, where they can play, rest and play all day. They let the dogs be dogs.

My dog had such a great time for a 2-night boarding. I got dozens of photos at the end of every day which made being away really easy and reassuring. He had a special diet and meds to take which Giselle did with no issue. Brian shared with me that they have been doing this full time for 3 years, and it shows how much they love what they do and dogs. It’s much more personalized experience than going to any of the large establishments where the people come and go. Here Giselle and Brian learn each dog’s personality and know how they play and who they play best with. It really seems like a little community for the dogs where they can be free and just be a dog! Our energetic dog had the best time staying and playing with Giselle for 4 days and 3 nights and has never come home so tuckered out after a boarding. We highly recommend Giselle for day care and boarding! We boarded our 17-month-old COVID pup for the first time with Giselle. He spent three fun-filled days getting to know new canine friends and running around to his heart’s content. Giselle provides a true doggy paradise – a big open backyard, always-available water, elevated cots on the patio for resting. Our Howie came home happy and tuckered out. (Like our son when we picked him up from Summer Camp) We appreciated the personal touches, such as pictures texted to us as well as his exercise metrics from the collar tracker he wore during his stay. It really made us feel like we knew what was happening even while we were not there. Giselle did an excellent job ensuring Howie would be a good fit, it was clear in our meet-and-greet interaction that she is very careful to only welcome well-socialized dogs who will not introduce aggressive behavior. She was extremely responsive to our texts and had Howie ready to go when we arrived for pick-up. We are already planning for our next boarding, confident that Howie will have as much fun on his “vacation” as we will have on ours

As I was looking for a new place to board my 1.5-year-old puppy I wanted to find somewhere she could play and run all day and this was the perfect place for that! Giselle and Brian are amazing! We were able to board our two dogs last minute over the Christmas week and they really took care of them. They knew how to deal with our one dog who does not play well with others and by the end of the week he was just one of the group. Parker had an absolute blast this weekend! I felt like Parker was staying with family. Giselle and Brian were fantastic! My dogs were very well cared for. They were able to be indoors or outside as they wished. They were carefully and thoughtfully introduced to the other dogs, so mine weren't too intimidated. By the time I picked them they were both happily exhausted.

Lily stayed with Giselle and family over the July 4th holiday. She was well cared for and enjoyed her stay. Giselle sent us lots of photos and kept us updated several times a day. She also brought Lily home at the end of her stay. Thank you taking such good care of Lily

Giselle took great care of our dog Dallas during the 4th of July holiday! During the meet and greet they gave us the whole rundown and everything we needed to know and showed us around their yard/house. During the stay she consistently updates us with pictures throughout daily. Would highly recommend for people in the area looking for an experienced sitter who is home full time!

I absolutely loved the experience; this was our first-time leaving Bella with someone we didn't know and she had an amazing time and was well taken care of we will definitely use Giselle for our next family outing that our dog can't attend. Giselle and Brian are the best! My two pomskies have stayed there twice--once for a week over Christmas and for a weekend! Jax and Riley had a blast at their place--lots of space to run outside, social time with other dogs, lots of love, and yummy treats! They are great at keeping you up to date and informed about your dogs. They send constant pictures, which is nice to see! They are pros at handling a house full of dogs and that was noticeable from the first visit. After meeting them I had no reservations about leaving my dogs there. I would whole-heartedly recommend them and have our dogs stay there again!

Giselle and Brian made our dogs feel at home. We have a challenging and athletic Poodle who is a bit distrustful of strangers. The regular updates and pictures along with Giselle's knowledge of pack culture, were key to making our dogs feel welcome in their new surroundings, and key to reassuring us that we made a good choice while on our week-long road trip.

Very pleased with my overall experience! I’ve been taking my Frenchie puppy to them for the last couple weeks and it’s been great. My puppy is now 99% potty trained thanks to their everyday efforts. I get pictures and videos throughout the day showing the activities my puppy is doing which brings a lot of peace of mind knowing he’s safe and having fun while I’m at work. Highly recommended!!

I’m so thankful that I've found someone to look after my dog while I'm at work. They have been very understanding of my dog's issues and patient with his anxiety. We recently moved to the area and my dog has had some separation anxiety issues since that has made going anywhere difficult.

Giselle and Brian were amazing with my two dogs! My dogs received great exercise and outside time. Giselle and Brian went above and beyond to make sure my dogs were cared for. I know that they had a blast and made many new doggy friends during their stay! Their home is cozy and has a great layout for dogs. I will definitely take my dogs back to stay with them the next time I go out of town.

Giselle and Brian did a terrific job caring for our high-energy pit pup, Zeus. They were really easy to work with, told us exactly what to bring and what to expect, and sent us pictures every day. They have a great sense for dog temperament and which pups like to play together. Zeus came back tired and happy, which is exactly what we were looking for!

What a wonderful Rover! Giselle and Brian are so accommodating to our needs. We are going through a difficult health crisis but we can count on this couple to take care of our fur baby.
